At our firm, we launch into each new project with the conviction that waterline installation is as much an art as it is a science. The unique nature of our work demands an unusual degree of site-specific planning, not to mention a suite of sophisticated techniques that range from the mundane (trenching) to the extraordinary (horizontal boring). Our lead designer, Steven, a Ph.D. in civil engineering with 30 years of industry experience, oversees all aspects of our projects and demands a high level of quality not just from our crews but also from the plans that our partners provide to us. At the outset of each project, he and I undertake an exhaustive series of direct conversations with all stakeholders to ensure that we understand the specific needs of the project and the site conditions that impose any constraints on it.
Our installation process is notably marked by two principles: sustainability and efficiency. Not only do we install water line systems, but we also design them to be much more eco-friendly compared to conventional systems. We aim to not just reduce our immediate impact during installation but also to benefit the communities where we work for years to come.
Our use of trenchless technology helps a lot with that. Surely you've seen major road work that seems to go on forever. Well, when we're installing a water line system, you won't see us digging up the road (because we won't be doing that). We're using trenchless technology.
In the Water Service Division, we're about much more than just putting pipe in the ground. We're about using the best possible materials and methods that benefit the communities we work in, both now and in the future.
At the heart of our approach lies communication and transparency. We recognize that water line installation can be an overwhelming prospect for many property owners, and we want to ensure that our clients are kept informed at every twist and turn of the process. From the initial consultations and planning stages to execution and follow-up support after the project has been completed, we prioritize a constant and clear line of dialogue that serves to demystify the project for our clients.
In this space, we take the time to explain each step of the project to ensure that our clients understand what is happening and why it's beneficial to them. We invite questions throughout each stage of the project, and we also make it a point to address concerns that arise so that they don't fester and come back to haunt us (or our clients) later in the project.
